The short version: our calculators run entirely in your browser. We don't store the health data you enter. If you choose to save your results by email, that email is used only to send your results and periodic health reminders — never sold or shared with third parties.
What information we collect
GetVitalNumbers operates two types of data interactions:
- Calculator inputs — height, weight, age, sex, and other health data you enter into our tools. This data is processed entirely within your browser and is never transmitted to our servers. We do not store, log, or retain any health inputs you provide.
- Email address — if you choose to use our "Save your results" feature, you provide your email address voluntarily. This is used to send you your results and optional health reminders. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Analytics — we use anonymized analytics (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our tools. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.
- Advertising — we display ads through Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show you relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
- Preferences — we may store your unit preference (imperial/metric) locally in your browser for convenience.
How we use your information
If you provide your email address, we use it to:
- Send your saved health calculator results
- Send periodic reminders to recalculate as your body changes (approximately every 6–8 weeks)
- Send occasional updates about new tools or features on GetVitalNumbers
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
GetVitalNumbers uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:
- Google AdSense — for displaying advertisements. Google Privacy Policy

- Google Fonts — for typography. Font requests are made to Google servers and subject to Google's privacy policy.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- Request deletion of your email address from our mailing list at any time by clicking "unsubscribe" in any email we send
- Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you
- Opt out of personalized advertising through Google's Ad Settings
Children's privacy
GetVitalNumbers is intended for adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our tools after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
